About Allan Scott
Allan Scott helped establish some of Marlborough's first commercial vineyards before he and his wife Catherine founded their own winery in 1990, one of the early independent wineries in the region. The family vineyards are in Rapaura, on the northern side of the Wairau Valley, close to the winery and cellar door. The business is still run by the Scott family.
How to Enjoy Allan Scott
Serve Pinot Gris chilled with pork, chicken or mildly spiced Asian dishes. Pinot Noir is best slightly cool, with salmon, duck or lamb. The Merlot suits pizza, pasta with tomato sauces and barbecued beef.
