About Babich
Josip Babich started making wine in Northland and founded the family winery in Henderson, West Auckland, in 1916. The business is still run by the Babich family. Today much of its fruit comes from Marlborough, the source of the Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir we carry.
How to Enjoy Babich
Chill the Sauvignon Blanc for seafood, salads and goat's cheese. The Pinot Gris suits pork, chicken and mild curries, and the Rosé works with antipasto or grilled prawns. Serve the Pinot Noir lightly cool with salmon, duck or lamb.
