Serve it neat or over ice after dinner, or lengthen it with soda water and a slice of orange. It also works in cocktails in place of other bitter liqueurs, and pairs well with rhubarb crumble or dark chocolate.

Expect an herbal, rooty nose of rhubarb, caramel and faint citrus zest. The palate is bittersweet, with a gently smoky rhubarb root character, cooked apple and liquorice, finishing with a pleasant bitterness and a cola-like note.
Rabarbaro is a long-standing Italian amaro style built on the bitter root of rhubarb rather than the tart garden stalks, which gives it an earthy, smoky edge.
A good pick for amaro drinkers and bartenders looking for a lighter-strength bitter liqueur with plenty of character.
