Use it in a classic dry Martini with gin or vodka, or serve it chilled over ice with tonic and a twist of lemon. It suits oysters, olives, salted almonds and light seafood dishes.
- Italian dry vermouth from Carpano
- Lowest in sugar of the Carpano range
- 1L bottle
Carpano is now part of Fratelli Branca, with production based in Milan since 2001. Like all vermouths it is wine based, so keep the bottle in the fridge once opened.
Expect candied fruit, coriander, spice and lemon oil on the nose. The palate is crisp, slightly acidic and winey, moving to a fresh herbal note and finishing with citrus and green apple.
A smart pick for Martini drinkers and anyone who enjoys a crisp, dry aperitivo.
