Three faces of the square bottle carry tropical illustrations, and the liquid inside is standard Cointreau at 40% ABV, made in Angers, France, from sweet and bitter orange peels. The Cointreau business was founded there in 1849 by the brothers Adolphe and Edouard-Jean Cointreau.
