Pepperjack Mid Strength Shiraz is a lower-alcohol red from Pepperjack, the Barossa Valley-based Australian label. Launched in 2023, it has around half the alcohol of the standard Pepperjack Shiraz while keeping the brand's dark fruit and spice.

Pepperjack Mid Strength Shiraz is best served at a cool room temperature, around 16 to 18°C, or a little cooler in summer. A standard red wine glass works well, and it is ready to pour on opening.

Pepperjack Mid Strength Shiraz typically tastes of blackberry and plum with hints of pepper and spice. It is lighter-bodied than full-strength Shiraz, with juicy fruit, soft tannins and a gently spiced finish. Expect small differences between vintages, though the house style stays recognisable from year to year.
