Southern Comfort Whiskey 200ml is the American whiskey-based liqueur first created in New Orleans in 1874 by bartender Martin Wilkes Heron. He blended whiskey with fruit and spices to soften the harsh spirits of the day, and the recipe still centres on that mix of whiskey, fruit and spice.

For many years the brand used a neutral spirit base, but the Sazerac Company bought Southern Comfort in 2016 and brought whiskey back into the recipe, reconnecting it with Heron’s original idea.
