Description
Giesen 0% Rosé 750ml is an alcohol removed rosé from Giesen Wines, blended from aromatic and red varietals grown in Marlborough and Waipara. Giesen says the Marlborough fruit brings freshness and vibrant acidity, while Waipara adds lifted aromatics and balance. It is made as a full-strength rosé before spinning cone technology draws off the aroma and then the alcohol. The stated strength is not more than 0.5% alcohol by volume, whatever the 0% in the name suggests.

Chill it before pouring and use an all-purpose wine glass. It sits well with a charcuterie platter, and Giesen also suggests a fresh watermelon and duck salad.
- Marlborough freshness with Waipara aromatics
- Dry finish, as described by Giesen
- Stated at not more than 0.5% alcohol by volume
White peach, apple and fresh strawberries come through on the nose. Crisp cranberry and stone fruit layer the palate, and the wine ends lively and dry.
Suited to long lunches and shared platters when rosé is the plan and you would prefer the alcohol taken out.
