Knob Creek Original 700ml is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Jim Beam family of distillers, bottled at 100 proof, or 50% ABV. Booker Noe, the grandson of Jim Beam, created Knob Creek in 1992 as part of a small batch collection, aiming for the fuller, higher-strength style of bourbon made before Prohibition.

The whiskey is distilled at the Jim Beam distillery in Clermont, Kentucky, and matured in new charred American oak barrels, which give it its deep amber colour and rich oak character. The higher bottling strength keeps plenty of flavour in the glass, so it holds up well when you add water, ice or mixers.
Sip it neat or with a few drops of water to open up the caramel and spice, or pour it over a large ice cube. It is a strong base for an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan, and sits well with barbecued meats, smoked brisket or a pecan tart.
