Little Giant Pinot Noir 750ml

Little Giant Pinot Noir comes from the Little Giant label, best known for the southern hairy-nosed wombat on its bottles. The fruit is grown in the Adelaide Hills, a cooler, high-altitude South Australian region well suited to Pinot Noir.

Little Giant Pinot Noir is best served slightly cool, around 15 to 16°C, in a wide Burgundy-style glass. Twenty minutes in the fridge on a warm day brings it to the right temperature and keeps the fruit fresh.

Little Giant Pinot Noir typically tastes of strawberry, cherry and raspberry with a light savoury note. It is light to medium-bodied, with fine tannins, fresh acidity and a smooth, fruity finish. Expect small differences between vintages, though the house style stays recognisable from year to year.

Little Giant Pinot Noir goes well with roast duck, mushroom risotto and seared salmon. Its fine tannins and bright fruit also suit roast chicken, pork belly and soft cheeses such as camembert. Simple, well-seasoned dishes let its fruit and freshness show at their best.
