Mumm Central Otago Blanc de Noirs Gift Box 750ml

Mumm Central Otago Blanc de Noirs is a New Zealand sparkling wine from Mumm's local project, made with Pinot Noir from Central Otago. It uses the same méthode traditionnelle as Maison Mumm in Champagne, and this version comes in a gift box.

Mumm Central Otago Blanc de Noirs is ideally served well chilled, at around 8°C, in a tulip glass. Because it is made entirely from Pinot Noir, a slightly wider glass helps its cherry and brioche aromas come through without losing the fine bubbles.

Mumm Central Otago Blanc de Noirs tastes of red and black cherry, red plum and red apple, with biscuit and brioche notes. The palate is soft and full, held in shape by a backbone of acidity, and it ends on a structured toasty finish.

Mumm Central Otago Blanc de Noirs goes with seared tuna and roast duck breast, where the red fruit meets the savoury flavours. Salmon also works well, and the toasty finish means it can sit alongside a cheese board with mild, creamy styles.
