Description
Prunotto Grappa Costamiole 500ml is a Piedmont grappa from Prunotto, the Alba wine producer founded in 1904. It is made from the pomace of Prunotto’s own vineyards, distilled in batch stills and cold filtered, and takes its name from the Costamiòle vineyard.

Prunotto makes wines from the Langhe and Monferrato hills, and Costamiòle is one of only two grappas it bottles, alongside Bussia. Both carry the names of the estate’s own vineyard sites, so each grappa is tied to a specific place rather than a general blend.
Serve it at room temperature in a small glass after a meal and sip it slowly. It pairs well with dark chocolate, aged cheeses or plain tea biscuits.
- Piedmont grappa from Prunotto, Alba
- Named after the Costamiòle vineyard
- Batch distilled and cold filtered, clear
Expect an intense, aromatic nose of ripe fruit and light floral notes. The palate is round and well structured rather than aggressive, with a warm finish and fine, lingering persistence.
A good bottle for anyone who enjoys Piedmont wines and wants a characterful grappa to close a meal.
