Fine Champagne is an official cognac designation for a blend of eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne only, with at least half from Grande Champagne. These chalky soils produce some of the most long-lived and aromatic spirits in the region.
The eaux-de-vie are aged in toasted French oak casks, which gives this cognac its rounded texture and creamy finish. It sits between the house’s VSOP and XO in style, offering a richer, more indulgent cognac for everyday sipping.
Rémy Martin has focused on Fine Champagne cognac for generations, and 1738 Accord Royal shows how the two most prized crus of the region work together: Grande Champagne for depth and length, Petite Champagne for roundness and fruit.
Serve it neat in a tulip glass at room temperature, or over a single ice cube to soften the warmth. It also makes a rich Sidecar or Old Fashioned, and pairs well with dark chocolate, roasted nuts or crème brûlée.

The colour is a deep copper. On the nose expect plum and fig jam with toffee, brioche and toasted bread. The palate brings spiced butterscotch and dark chocolate, with a chalky, nutty finish.
A generous, rounded cognac that rewards slow sipping and stands up to rich desserts and cocktails alike.
A considered gift for cognac lovers, or a step up for anyone moving on from VSOP.
