Teeling Stout Cask Irish Whiskey 2022 700ml is a blended Irish whiskey from the Teeling Whiskey Company in Dublin, finished in casks that previously held stout. The idea started as a swap between distillery and brewery: Teeling barrels were used to age a stout, then returned to Teeling and refilled with its Small Batch whiskey for a final period of maturation. This bottling is the 2022 release of the series, bottled at 46% ABV.

Teeling’s notes for the stout cask finish describe a nose of dark chocolate, truffles, sour apple and a hint of sea spray. The palate brings sweet malt, roasted barley, sour fruits and black cherry, and the finish moves to Seville orange, digestive biscuit, honeycomb and cream.
