Description
Man O’ War Exiled Pinot Gris 750ml is an off-dry Pinot Gris from Man O’ War, the family-owned vineyard on the eastern end of Waiheke Island in the Hauraki Gulf. The fruit is the St Helena clone, grown on Waiheke and neighbouring Ponui Island, and the wine is named after Napoleon’s final place of exile. Fermentation is stopped by chilling, leaving gentle sweetness and a light natural spritz.

Serve chilled, around 8 to 10°C, in a standard white wine glass. It works well with pork and fennel dumplings or a mildly spiced Thai green curry.
- From Waiheke and Ponui Islands, New Zealand
- Off-dry Pinot Gris, St Helena clone
- Fermentation halted by chilling to keep freshness
Expect ripe pear, white nectarine and apricot aromas with a hint of ginger spice. The palate is textured and gently sweet, balanced by fine acidity, with mandarin and stone fruit through a fresh finish.
A good pick for fans of aromatic whites with a touch of sweetness.
